One of the first things people notice is your smile. To keep it beautiful and healthy for a lifetime, we want to make it as easy as possible for you to receive the best orthodontic care.
Cost of Treatment
Several components, including the severity of the problem and length and complexity of treatment, are all factored into the cost for orthodontic treatment. Fees and arrangements for payments will be fully discussed with you at your consultation appointment. We hope to provide each patient with high-quality orthodontic treatment at an affordable cost. For this reason, we offer pay-in-full discounts and interest-free payment plans.
Bookkeeping offers a discount on the cost of treatment for patients who pay the entire cost in full at the start of treatment for all treatments that cost more than $1,000.00. You will receive a 10% discount for payment with cash or check or a 7% discount for payment with a debit or credit card. All discounts are applied after insurance coverage and auction vouchers have been applied to the cost of treatment.
Our office is proud to help our communities raise the money they need to continue to provide exceptional services and activities that benefit our patients and neighbors by donating $1,000.00 treatment vouchers to local auction fundraisers. Auction vouchers are redeemable to new patients (adults and children) towards the cost of treatment with our office. If you have one of these auction vouchers, please bring it with you to your first appointment, so we can apply it right away! We donate more than 30 auction vouchers annually, so if you would like us to participate in your auction, please give us a call!
We accept all major credit cards!
We offer a complimentary benefits check! Please provide us with your insurance information at your first visit or if your insurance changes, so that we can verify your coverage. If you would like to know your benefits before coming in for an appointment, please call our office and give your insurance information to our bookkeeper.
Orthodontic insurance typically has a lifetime maximum amount of benefits, and the amount of this maximum will be necessary to offset full cost once active treatment has begun. Our office staff is always available to help you with insurance claims and paperwork if you have insurance that will be covering any portion of your orthodontic treatment. Insurance carriers generally pay out benefits over the course of treatment rather than in one lump sum. If you wish to send payments to insurance yourself, our office can provide the receipt and information you need to submit it so the process is as smooth as possible.
We have patients with all types of insurance plans in our office. Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plans will cover a portion of the cost of your treatment in our office if you have orthodontic benefits. Although we are not listed as a network provider for Healthcare Management Organizations (HMO), Medicare or Medicaid, we will not turn you away. If you have orthodontic benefits under these plans, they will not cover treatment in our office. However, our patients chose our office for their orthodontic care because of our award-winning reputation, affordable services, appointment flexibility, and friendly staff, so give us a call and set up your appointment for a complimentary exam with Dr. Speck!
We are in-network with several insurance companies, and have negotiated certain rates with them. Out-of-network plans will still provide coverage for treatment in our office, so make sure to provide your information so we can verify your benefits.
